Description
Tastes Like Red Apple • Clementine • Fudge Manhattan's Take: For the first time, we are proud to present a coffee from Peru as part of our selection. At Manhattan Coffee Roasters, we are constantly working to expand our range and discover new and exciting flavor experiences. Rosa Dominguez is a coffee that perfectly reflects this pursuit. The Rosa Dominguez Ramos family was among the first producers to join the Valleinca Association. Grown primarily under the shade of Pisonay trees, the coffee is cultivated across plantations in the Cusco region. During flowering season, these trees transform the landscape with vibrant reddish-orange blossoms, creating a unique and beautiful environment for coffee cultivation. Whole cherries ferment before a carefully managed drying process on raised beds. The lot rests to stabilize before export. This washed, double-fermented Geisha offers a refined and expressive cup profile with notes of red apple, clementine, and fudge, followed by a smooth and rounded aftertaste. Manhattan recommends brewing as filter to keep the refined character lifted.
