Saareji, Washed Ethiopia Producer Smallholders of Saareji Village 1900-2300 masl 74110, 74112, 74165, Kurume Washed BUY NOW Shop Home Saareji, Washed Saareji, Washed Juicy apricot, sweet pineapple & lemon-lime zest From the birthplace of coffee comes a complex, juicy and vibrant washed from Gedeb county. This specific lot is made up of cherries grown by approximately 150 smallholder farmers from Saareji village, cultivated at high altitudes and delivering this beautifully vibrant, juicy and complex washed coffee. Ripe handpicked cherries are delivered to the nearby Worka washing station, which is owned and operated by the quality focused Melkalati Trading PLC. Cherries are pulped using an ‘Agard’ coffee processing machine and then soaked in water for 48hrs as part of the wet fermentation process.
