Description
A classic espresso blend (80% Brazilian Arabica, 20% fine Indian Robusta) with a strong body and deep, creamy-chocolate flavor. We created it to offer the classic espresso experience that many people love, in the best quality. We directly purchased fine Robusta from one of the best farms in India to anchor deep notes of dark chocolate and a strong body in this blend, and then added chocolatey Brazilian Arabica beans, which give this mix additional nougat notes and creaminess. The Indian component: For three years, we have been sourcing our single-origin raw coffee directly from the Mysore plantation in the Indian state of Karnataka. The plantation is owned by the Rao family, who have been cultivating high-quality Robusta coffee there for 80 years. The Brazilian component: Since purchasing the Fazenda Sao Francisco da Bela Vista in Brazil in 1993, producer Tarcízio Aldo Zugliani has significantly improved the farm's infrastructure over the years. For example, he built drying beds and invested in better processing machines and rotary dryers. He also planted the farm with young seedlings to increase quality and productivity. All these measures resulted in an improvement in the quality of the harvest and also contributed to the high quality of this batch of Yellow Catuai Pulp Natural.
