Description
Johel Monge Naranjo established Hacienda San Isidro Labrador during the 2014-2015 harvest season, just a few years after investing in the planting of thousands of gesha and typica plants on the farms tended by him and his son, Mathias, in the Los Santos region of San José province. Since then, their gesha lots have placed in the top ten of the Costa Rican Cup of Excellence competition for the past five consecutive years, with a 1st place overall win achieved in 2023. This particular lot exhibits balanced flavors of plum, raw honey, and marmalade, with complex florals reminiscent of spearmint and jasmine in the finish. Origin: Santa Maria de Dota, Costa Rica Variety: Gesha Process: Washed Producer: Johel Monge
