Description
We're always on the lookout for farms with a greater purpose than simply growing coffee. Whether the impact is environmental or social, it's all connected – and vital for the success of current and future coffee-producing communities. When our friends at Yallah introduced us to SUDUS, a brilliant organisation that supports Colombian biodiversity and pollination by planting herbaceous corridors amidst coffee trees, we had to check them out. Turns out the coffees from the farmers they work with are also super delicious! This luxurious Pink Bourbon comes from SUDUS partner Ancelmo Chinchilla at La Primavera in Palermo, Huila. It's a classic natural fruit bomb: refreshingly sweet and boozy, with notes of strawberry, pineapple, and vanilla-scented white rum. A gorgeous coffee from a farm lush with local flora. To process this coffee after harvesting, it was float-sorted to manually remove green, overripe, and dried cherries. It then underwent 80 hours of anaerobic fermentation in plastic bags before drying.
