The João Silva Campos family own and operate this estate in the south-eastern region of Brazil, Mantiqueira de Minas. The area is well positioned to produce some beautiful Brazilian coffees, with a high quality terroir as its foundation. Conquista has a deep, rich character with dark chocolate flavours enveloped in a coating body, flowing into a dense, long lasting aftertaste. 1400 masl Yellow & Red Catuai, Acaia Naturals & Pulped Naturals Additional Information This coffee from the region of Mantiqueira de Minas showcases the commitment of a family to specialty coffee. Produced by João Silva Campos the farm has more recently expanded into a larger collaboration of family members. Founded on hard work and an appreciation for the responsibility to quality and the environment, Conquista has blossomed from a small plot to a 90 hectare estate, 20 of which is set aside for environmental preservation. Balancing growth alongside quality standards requires constant focus. “Our main goal is to offer, always, to our clients the best tasting coffee beans they can have. So, we need to invest in processing machinery & methods in order to be able to deliver this quality level as a constant.” — João Silva Campos. And it certainly seems this attention to detail and investment back into the farm has paid off, as the quality and consistency of Conquista in the cup shows.
