Description
Our Azahar Colombian lots are in, and have never tasted so good. Welcome to Colombia season Hector has been working in agriculture for many years, but only 4 years ago did he begin growing coffee plants. He now has 2000 coffee trees across a modestly sized piece of land in the mountains of La Caldera outside of Pasto. He lives on the farm with his wife and 4 children, the oldest of whom has started helping him operate the farm. He focuses exclusively on washed coffees (our favorite), all Castillo varietal. This is an incredible example of how tropical and dynamic Narino coffees can be, it is such vibrant and delicious coffee. Processing: Traditional washed, 16hr fermentation, parabolic drying for 10-15 days, hand sorted and grain pro packed Region: Pasto Farm Name: Finca San Francisco Varietal: 100% Castillo Elevation: 1880 Masl Process: Washed Notes: Passionfruit, Melon Candy, Sandies Harvest: August 2025 Roast Level: Medium Light
