Description
Josh’s Notes:This is one of my personal standouts this month. Lovely white grape smell on bag open. Interestingly, a woody note on grind, but this disappears completely when wet. The fruit comes forth on bloom with a nice cane sugar aroma. As the brew goes on, I start getting umeshu notes as well as barley tea! In the cup it’s more of the same, with the addition of a beautiful, sparkling lemon seltzer note, along with that cane sugar sweetness. It just hits all the right Ethiopia notes for me. Complex, subtle, refined, delicious. Would go well with the Tabe Burka to compare.Roasted somewhere between light/medium and spectacularly by our friends at Raw Sugar Roast in Tokyo, Japan, rested for 7 days, then vacuum packed and frozen.
