Description

Sweet Blossom  SIGNATURE \ A Returning Favourite  Like browsing through a flower shop in spring—Sweet Blossom aims to delivers  sweetness without any bitterness. Stone fruit, blood orange, and honey come together in a clean, elegant cup that reminds us why a simplistic, really well balanced Ethiopian coffee captivates specialty coffee lovers worldwide.  Sweetness is King There's a coffee or two that led us into drinking filter and/or pour over coffees. Would this be one for you? About Coffee Dimtu Tero About the coffee, we have always aimed for high quality in our coffee offerings, once learned that Getachew Zeleke, the founder of Dimtu Tero Farm, also has the same ambitious goal of becoming the leader in quality, traceability, and sustainability in the producing end, we knew we’ve found the right coffee. Getachew focuses on supply chain integration of stakeholders working together with smallholders from nearby villages of Tero, Jelewo Anona, Mancity, and Hangadi. They become equal partners, supporting and thriving in sustainable farming practices.  The smallholders receive premiums on top of the regular cherry price, interest-free loans, improved coffee seedlings, processing equipment, and training – in productivity, quality, and sustainability. Bekele Beriso, a 90-year-old small-holder, explains “We are partners of Getachew. We work hard on the coffee farming side so that the buyer can pay a fair price for the coffee and reward us if they are happy with our coffee.” Dimtu Tero is stretched over 151Ha land in the Odo Shakiso district, where the natural environment is favorable to produce some of the best coffees of Ethiopia. Getachew works with 136 registered smallholder farmers who collectively own 989 hectares of land. Coffee production and processing are done in an organic, socially responsible and environmentally friendly manner. This practice has been verified by BCS OKO as well as NOP, EU and JAS Organic.   WHY SWEET BLOSSOM?  For pour over enthusiasts** seeking bright, clean, fruit-forward cups  For ethical coffee drinkers** who want traceability + organic certification  For Ethiopian coffee lovers** who appreciate Guji's unique terroir  For light roast fans** who want sweetness without bitterness  For beginners** who think "Ethiopian = too acidic" (this one's balanced!)
