Description
SWP DECAFFEINATED - BRAZIL FAZENDA UM SIGNATURE DECAF THAT DOESN'T COMPROMISE Yes, we have a quality decaf coffee that smooth, sweet, and bursting with character. This Brazilian from Fazenda Um proves that removing caffeine doesn't mean removing flavor. Thanks to the **100% chemical-free Swiss Water® Process**, every cup delivers caramel, chocolate, dried dates, and cherry notes with zero compromise. Brazil’s Fazenda Um is anything but ordinary, a naturally processed and decaffeinated by the Swiss Water® Process, it offers a balanced cup with soft fruit tones and a warm base of caramelized sugar and date. Moderate acidity and a silky texture make it an ideal choice for late-afternoon or evening enjoyment. About Coffee The Farm and Family Fazenda Um was purchased in 2009 by Stefano Um as part of his retirement plan and quickly grew into a leader in Brazilian specialty coffee. His sons, Boram and Garam Um, soon joined, founding Um Coffee Co. in São Paulo and raising the bar for coffee quality and education. Garam is a World Brewers Cup finalist and Boram the 2023 World Barista Champion. Their dedication to excellence inspired ongoing improvements at the farm, from sustainable, organic farming practices to advanced drying and experimental processing. Cultivation & Processing This lot of Mundo Novo variety grows in shady areas with rich volcanic soil and is farmed using organic methods. After harvest, cherries are naturally processed, spending 25 days on shaded raised beds and an additional 16 days on patios for slow, even drying. This careful approach results in a coffee that is round, sweet, and true to Brazil’s celebrated flavor profile. Swiss Water® Process Decaffeination To create a clean, caffeine-free cup, the coffee is gently decaffeinated in Canada using the Swiss Water® Process—a 100% chemical-free method that preserves the bean’s natural sweetness and complexity. The result is a decaf that retains the vibrant character of its origin, offering a comforting yet flavourful experience in every brew. WHY SWISS WATER® DECAF FAZENDA UM? *FOR DECAF SKEPTICS:* "Decaf doesn't taste good" → This one does. Champion-level quality. "Decaf has chemicals" → Not this one. 100% water process. "Decaf is boring" → Not when it's from a World Barista Champion's farm. PERFECT FOR: Evening coffee lovers** who want flavor without staying up all night Pregnant/nursing** coffee enthusiasts missing their ritual Health-conscious** folks cutting back on caffeine Insomniacs** who refuse to give up coffee Specialty coffee fans** who want decaf that doesn't compromise Households with mixed preferences** (some caffeinated, some not) SWP DECAF BRAZIL FAZENDA UM Brazil Minas Gerais Fazenda Um Mundo Novo Swiss Water® Process | 1,300 MASL | Natural Caramel | Chocolate | Dried Dates | Cherry Extraction Recommendation ESPRESSO 18.5g of fine grind coffee 28-32s of extraction 40-42g of espresso POUR OVER Brew Ratio | 55g/L to 60g/L Brew Time | 3 mins
