Description

This is the second harvest pass of William Ortiz’s Chiroso. His first harvest this year was quite literally one of the highest-scoring coffees we tasted from Colombia, and we are excited to share this new release. In the cup we find a softer yet complex tropical profile with melon and lime. Region: Pitalito, Huila Altitude: 1,700 masl Harvest: March 2026 Processing: Hand-picked at peak ripeness. Floated to further remove defects. Held in-cherry overnight. De-pulped. Dry-fermented for 36 hours. Washed. Dried on raised beds until moisture content reaches 10.5%.
