With proud traditions and deep roots in the Guji region’s rich coffee history, the Gerba Dogo washing station is a pioneer in Ethiopian coffee production. The coffee is grown in a unique microclimate, high in the mountains, where the lush and nutrient-rich soil provides perfect growing conditions. The combination of altitude, temperature variations and mineral-rich soil creates a complex and balanced flavor profile that characterizes coffee from this region. The result is a cup of coffee with distinct character, floral notes and a clean, lively acidity. Gerba Dogo is a washing station that shows how local expertise and respect for nature can produce coffee of exceptional quality. Through close contact with local farmers and continuous improvement of processes, the station helps to highlight the best that Ethiopia has to offer in terms of an exceptional specialty coffee.
