Description
Description Whole beans from the farm Elida Estate from Lamastus family Estate, in Panama. It is a geisha natural from the plot called Falda. A few hours after roasting, this coffee reveals itself as being quite complex : it can taste chocolate/praliné with mango, apricot, orange flavors but also sometime a violette delicate flavor. Country : Panama Region : Volcan Baru National Park Farm : Elida Estate Lot : Falda Altitude : 1800m Soil : volcanic Variety : Geisha Process : natural CRD (Cold Room Drying) Harvest date : 18/02/2026 Import : direct trade with Lasmastus Family Estate We got to visit three of Lamastus farms during our trip to Panama in February 2024 and January 2026. Elida Estate is a beautiful farm, it is not small but they are very rigorous about their lots, the processing, the drying. You can visit every part it is clean, the lots well tracked. Wilford and his so-called dream team is tremendously serious in order to produce the best coffee their terroir has to offer. They cup altogether with the passing guest roasters, rating every single lot they have. In the farms, local varieties of fruit trees grow, providing tree tomato, lulos. The families working at the farms can also benefit from biogas systems turning the farm waste into gas, providing them energy to run their homes. We have a lot of respect for Wilford’s work because he is passionate and generous. He lives for coffee and for sharing this passion. Thank you for being part of this world Wilford !
