Description
【200 yen discount when purchasing Prolog and townsfolk beans simultaneously】 Flavors reminiscent of transparent fruits such as Muscat, Meyer lemon, and peach. Its clean and floral impression is such that it has been dubbed "Inca Geisha." This lot is of the "SL09" varietal, cultivated only in the Incahuasi district, a secluded area boasting one of Peru's top terroirs. SL09 possesses a rare taste profile that is fruity, floral, and clean in the cup, enchanting coffee buyers worldwide and currently enjoying significant attention. Due to its taste, it was formerly referred to as "Inca Geisha," but recent genetic analysis has revealed it to be very close to SL09. SL09 is an Ethiopian varietal selected by a research institute in Kenya. It is said to have originated from seedlings with unclear varietal information that came from Kenya, and when exhibited at a competition, its exquisite taste, similar to Geisha, led to it being called "Inca Geisha." You will understand why it's called "Inca Geisha" once you taste its floral and beautiful flavor. The Pacaybamba farm, which produced this lot, is located on the slopes of Mount Pucchoquesafra, blessed with a rich natural environment. The high altitude allows the coffee cherries to ripen slowly, and the volcanic soil, rich in organic matter and minerals, produces coffee of outstanding quality with remarkably beautiful acidity. The producer, Salustio, inherited the farm from his father, who was also a coffee producer, and despite only seven years of production, he was awarded in last year's Cup of Excellence.
