Description

【200 yen discount when purchasing Prolog and townsfolk beans together】 It has a dense acidity and sweetness like cassis, and a flavor reminiscent of blood orange. It has a voluminous mouthfeel and is very satisfying to drink. Kaguyu Factory is located in Kirinyaga County, which can be called the center of coffee production in Kenya. It is located in the area south of Mount Kenya, and together with the neighboring Nyeri County to the east, it produces extremely high-quality coffee and is one of the important production areas. The factory is operated by a farmers' cooperative with about 70 years of history, and 850 farmers belong to it. Similar to recent trends in Kenya, varieties such as Batian and Ruiru11 are becoming widespread and cultivated in this area in addition to the SL variety. The main purpose is to secure production volume and to combat pests and diseases. The original SL variety, which has deep roots that make it stable and strong against diseases, is often left as a rootstock, and Batian and Ruiru11, which are resistant to pests and diseases, are often used as scions. At the factory, cherries collected from nearby farmers are processed by washing. The nearby river is a rich water source, and a system for purifying water after processing is also fully equipped. ------------------------------------------------------------- [Information] Tastingnote / Taste: Blood orange, Honey, Rich body Farmer / Producer: 850 small farmers from Rungeto FCS Region / Area: Kirinyaga Variety / Variety: Sl28, Sl34, Batian, Ruiru11 Altitude / Elevation: 1600 - 1800m Process / Processing method: Washed
