Description
[¥200 discount when purchasing Prolog and Townsfolk beans together] The floral flavor is reminiscent of pink flowers, and as the temperature drops, the fresh, sweet fruitiness of peach and white grape spreads in your mouth. The combination with the thick texture allows you to slowly enjoy the impression of complex acidity. This lot is of the "SL09" variety, which is only cultivated in the remote Incahuasi region, boasting one of Peru's top terroirs. It is sometimes referred to locally as "Inca Gesha." SL09 has a rare taste profile that is fruity, floral, and clean cup, attracting coffee buyers from around the world and currently receiving a lot of attention. Due to its flavor, it was called "Inca Gesha" until recently, but genetic analysis in recent years has revealed that it is very similar to SL09. SL09 is an Ethiopian variety selected by a research institute in Kenya. It is said that the origin was a seedling of unknown varietal information that came from Kenya. When it was exhibited at a competition, its taste was excellent and close to Gesha, so it began to be called "Inca Gesha." If you drink it, you will understand why it is called "Inca Gesha." It has a floral and beautiful flavor. The farm of Neyda, the producer of this lot, is located on the slopes of the majestic mountain Apuchuntavilca in the Incahuasi region. Many of the surrounding farms are located at high altitudes of over 2,000m, with some exceeding 2,400m. It is characterized by volcanic soil rich in minerals and organic matter. This overwhelming environment and the varietal characteristics of SL09 create a unique flavor. This lot, processed using a traditional washed method, truly embodies the "taste of the land."
