Description
Daterra Coffee traces its roots to the Pascoal family, who migrated from Italy to Brazil in 1902 and began with a small roasted coffee stall at the Campinas market. In 1976, Luis Pascoal officially founded Daterra Coffee, a project meaning “From the Earth”, reflecting a commitment to nature and sustainable farming. Located in Brazil’s Cerrado Mineiro region, Daterra Coffee now manages 2,700 hectares of coffee plantations divided into multiple mini-farms, operated through a scientific, data-driven management system to ensure consistent quality. In parallel, the farm dedicates 3,250 hectares to natural conservation, planting native trees and producing organic fertilizer. » More information about Daterra Coffee Ziriguidum #2 embodies Daterra’s dynamic interpretation of the Laurina variety and honors Brazil’s cultural rhythm while highlighting the estate’s expertise in varietal research and controlled cultivation. » Information about Ziriguidum #2 – Masterpieces Auction 2025 » Understanding coffee information tags – Coffee wants to rest in a cool place away from sunlight and sealed bags; – Our coffee reaches its peak flavor 04 weeks after roasting for beans that are not packaged and are served directly at our store chain. For packaged coffee intended for distribution, we apply flavor-locking technology. As a natural result, it may take 8 – 12 weeks, or even up to 16 weeks after roasting, for the coffee to reach its peak flavor ( Please note that the resting time required to reach peak flavor is directly proportional to the amount of time the coffee remains sealed in flavor-locking packaging. The longer the coffee stays in an airtight bag, the longer it will take to degas and reach its optimal peak ). – Our coffee maintains its aroma spectrum within 06 months of opening the bag, and the quality gradually decreases; – Our coffee is packed with flavor-locking technology, so it can be preserved for 02 years from the date of production when unopened. We also recommend not using it when first opening the bag. Please open and close the bag for another 03 days to fully release the flavor-locking encapsulation technology; – Our coffee will clearly show the flavor description after 03 days from when you open and close the bag for the first time.
