Description
Tastes Like: Korean Lilac, Jasmine, Strawberry, Blueberry Origin: Cauca, Colombia Variety: Gesha Producer: Paola Trujillo, Finca Patio Bonito Elevation: 1650 masl Process: Washed From the high hills of Caldono, Cauca, this washed Gesha is a masterclass in precision and legacy. Grown at Finca Patio Bonito, it represents the intersection of forty years of sustainable tradition from Carlos Trujillo and the technical mastery of his daughter, Paola. Paola Trujillo is a second-generation producer, who has become a leading figure in Colombia’s modern specialty coffee movement. After studying chemical engineering, she returned to her family’s 11-hectare farm in 2022. Before returning to the farm, she spent years working as a professional cupper and buyer for export companies in Nariño and Huila. This experience gave her a deep understanding of international quality standards and market demands. Floral and sweet, this cup opens up with complexity and is incredibly dynamic as it cools. We love Paola's coffee and it is always a pleasure to work with them. These kinds of coffee are special to us, expert processing and drying practices lead to beautiful expressions of origin and variety.
