Description
Your everyday coffee, perfected. The Daily Driver is a sweet and session-able everyday sipper you keep coming back for. The Daily Driver is an essential part of our morning routine and reminds us of honeycomb, candied orange and brown sugar. We chose this Guatemalan coffee for its clean, syrupy body and moreish sugary profile. We roast the Daily Driver to be enjoyed on all brewing methods as well as black or with milk. Our friend Billy, of Common Goal Coffee, introduced us to Ricardo Zelaya’s coffees. The beans from his farm, Finca Santa Clara, are nothing short of exceptional. Billy and Ricardo have been working together for years and have nurtured a close and lasting relationship. We honestly believe this is the best valued coffee on the market! Roast Level Medium Tasting Notes Honeycomb, Candied Orange, Brown Sugar Origin Guatemala Variety Mixed Varietals Process Washed Producer Ricardo Zelaya Brew Method Filter: 16:1 water-to-coffee ratio, medium-coarse grind Espresso: 2:1 yield-to-dose ratio, fine grind, 30-second shot Recommended Resting To get the best out of our coffees we recommend resting them. We have found for espresso the optimal age is 10 - 21 days after the roast date and for filter brew methods we find our coffees start tasting best after 3-4 weeks after the roast!
